Abstract

This paper focuses on the possible interactions between cognition studies and creative processes, taking as reference an important cultural context of Bahia discussed on a Doctorate Research accomplished in the UFBA's Graduate Program. The research focused the complex interaction between music and movement, developing ideas and processes based on a context where there is no conceptual separation between them: the Capoeira Regional. The experiential approach was framed by circuits involving theories and practices of compositional domain, resulting in the creation of a conceptual framework which engenders dialogues between music/movement and cognition studies/creative processes.
