This paper aims to report on a pedagogical intervention experience carried out within a university extension project, focusing on aiding the development of mathematical skills. The methodology consisted of creating and applying the gamified strategy (DE)COMPONDO, using rhythmic-musical techniques, concrete materials, and recording software with an adolescent presenting learning difficulties complaints. The theoretical framework articulates the historical relationship between music and mathematics, gamification strategies, Swanwick's C(L)A(S)P model, and Ausubel's meaningful learning theory. The discussion of the results indicates that the transdisciplinary approach fostered concentration and the understanding of numerical concepts, demonstrating that gamified musical strategies can be effective tools for overcoming obstacles in the educational process.
